My prayer this week: God, I’m grateful that “every good and perfect gift” is from you (Jame 1:17). Help me to recognize each one — even in the simple things like food on the table, the breath in my lungs, the beauty of a favorite song — in the moment. And prompt my heart to be grateful, not just for the gift … but for the ways the gift points me back to you.
